True Rest

A daily practice for finding peace and stillness in the midst of a busy day.

What if you could be more present, more intentional, and more focused on the things that matter?

Our daily responsibilities distract us from the most important practice for remaining grounded and connected: the spiritual discipline of stepping out of the noise and spending time with Jesus.

True Rest is the antidote to an overwhelmed mind, heart, and life. 50 daily devotions are designed to help Christians cultivate a more meaningful, focused, and distraction-free life through ancient spiritual practices relied upon for centuries in the Christian church. Through short but intentional daily readings, you will learn tangible practices to make each day more deliberate and meaningful.

Each devotional will:

• Open with encouraging scripture or a theologian’s advice (for fans of scholars such as Dallas Willard, Brother Lawrence and Thomas A. Kempis)
• Dive into a reflection inviting you to accept Jesus’ peace
• End with a guided prayer to rely on Jesus’ help

As you begin the habit of spending five minutes of your day in God’s word, you’ll feel equipped to continue your day carrying a peace in the chaos and learn how to find quiet moments to replenish you soul.
