About the Author
Kit Heyam (they/he) is a writer, historian, museum consultant, and educator based in Leeds, UK. The author of Before We Were Trans, they also sing in three choirs, play the tenor horn, co-organize Leeds Queer Film Festival, and attempt to meet their child’s insatiable demands for apples and poetry.
